“It's improved my football skills and fitness. I feel more involved and motivated to play football every day.” – Pupil, Gateway Academy
Since QPR in The Community Trust officially launched in 1994 there has been a continued emphasis on delivering high quality physical education activities to children off all abilities and backgrounds. The QPR School Sport Programme since 2009 has grown significantly in size whilst ensuring it still meets the club values and objectives in delivering expertise through school sports.
The School Sport Programme core aims and objectives are;
•Increase the number of children who receive high quality physical education through our schools programme, both academically & physically;
•Engage schools through a flexible delivery model which provides support and assistance to staff and pupils in line with the current National Curriculum;
•Raise aspirations by providing bespoke training programmes to support learning, personal development and progression.
This is a hugely important academic year for the charity and we hope your school will join in with our continued development as we branch out to deliver even more exciting initiatives to help your school achieve its goals.
