Trust team profiles
Andy Evans
Trust CEO
Andy has been a full time member of the Community Scheme since its inception in 1994 and became Trust CEO in 2009. A lifelong QPR supporter from West London, he is as passionate about the game of football as he is about the potential role it can play at community level. Andy has focused on creating an outward facing community organisation developing interventions across health, education and social inclusion. He is also a qualified coach who has also coached QPR FC Centre of Excellence sides and is a keen fan of cricket and rugby.
Martino Chevannes
Community Trust Manager
Martino has been at the club for 10 years; his role involves assisting Andy Evans with the strategy and direction of the trust, general football development and overseeing the current staff in the delivery of their various projects and programmes of work. Away from the Trust he is also the 1st Team Manager of Queens Park Rangers Ladies FC.
Fiona Hodgson
Funding Manager
Fiona has worked at the club since 2009. Her role is involves applying for grant funding and organising fundraising events. The funding brought in supports projects run by the staff to benefit the local community’s health, education, social inclusion or participation in sporting activities. Annual fundraising events coordinated by Fiona include a golf day and sponsored walk, as well as fans and community events.
Fiona's other main responsibilities are coordinating the Soccer Sight visually impaired commentary system for partially sighted fans and also managing the Extra Time project (Over 60s club) alongside Sarah Holt.
Jesse Foyle
Education Manager
Jesse joined the Trust team in September 2008 moving from a successful period of teaching and managing in schools. He oversees all aspects of the Education themed projects running within the QPR Community Trust. Some of the programmes running include after school study support, outreach school work, holiday activities and adult education. Jesse also coordinates the Trust’s community volunteering scheme.
Matt Lock
Social Inclusion Manager
Matt is the Social Inclusion Manager at the Trust and co-ordinates the Kickz and Social Inclusion projects. Matt is also responsible for the co-ordination of the Trusts disability football programme which includes the Down Syndrome Tiger Cubs. He works in partnership with organisations such as Borough Councils, Metropolitan Police, County Sports Partnerships and Disabled people’s organisations to ensure that all members of our community enjoy sport and physical activity.
Daniel Edwards
Football Development Officer for Hammersmith & Fulham & Ealing.
Danny has been at Queens Park Rangers Football Club since 2001, starting off as a YTS. His role is to coordinate the football activity in Hammersmith & Fulham. Danny also coaches at Wormwood Scrubs Prison, Wandsworth Prison and Feltham Young Offenders.
He is also working with the U11 Centre of Excellence team.
Dave Robinson
Football Development Officer for Brent
Head of Stadium Tours
Dave is responsible for co-ordinating all football activities in the borough of Brent.
The initiatives he heads range from Breakfast Clubs, Curriculum and After School sessions, Kick into Reading and Kick Racism out of football, Kickz and Groundwork.
Overseas, he has been involved in Coaching for Hope in both West and South Africa.
He also manages the Imperial College Men’s side at the R’s training base at Harlington. Finally, he co-ordinates the Football Aid programme as well as the Loftus Road Stadium Tours.
Steve Quashie
Football Development Officer for Hillingdon
Steve’s role is to co-ordinate all of the curriculum and extracurricular activities in the London Borough of Hillingdon. He works with the local council, PE advisors, metropolitan police and local community groups. Steve’s other responsibilities also include; teaching FA and coach education courses to adult learners, facilitating child welfare training for club employees and the head coach for QPR Girls F.C. underage teams.
Justin Stone
Multi Sports Development Officer
Having spent a number of years working as a Chief Activity Instructor as well as working for Manchester City and A.C Milan Justin brings with him a wealth of experience to the role. As Multi Sports Development Officer Justin targets schools, youth clubs, Professional clubs and local sports groups to deliver coaching sessions and organise tournaments for their chosen sport. QPR in the Community Trust has the ability to coach sports such as Cricket, Ultimate Frisbee, Basketball, Dance, Team Games plus many more.
