Education Officer Vacancy, QPR in the Community Trust

Salary: circa £24,000 pro rata depending on experience & qualifications

Fixed Term 24 month contract

 

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time (3 days/week*) Education Officer within QPR in the Community Trust.
 
Reporting to the Education Manager, the role of the Education Officer is crucial in the delivery of the Barclays Premier League Works programme.
 
Responsibilities will include:

-       Project manage the Barclays Premier League Works Programme at QPR. A programme that aims to get unemployed 16 – 24 yr old in to work.

-       Deliver football/sport coaching sessions.

-       Deliver employability workshops.

-       Monitoring and evaluation of projects.

 
The type of experience we are looking for:
-       Working with young people aged 16 – 24 years, from disadvantaged communities
-       Working with socially excluded young people.
-       Delivering education/employability workshops.
-       Delivering football/sport coaching sessions.
-       Delivering accreditations/qualifications
-       Working with partner agencies to facilitate learning.
 
Along with the relevant experience the post holder must possess excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills.
 
*If you hold relevant coaching qualifications (minimum level 2) and have experience coaching in schools, OR, have experience of monitoring & evaluation, there maybe an opportunity to extend this role to a full time position.
